Air Terjun Chamang & Kuala Gandah

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Someone ought to introduce Jack to my friends & I. We'll teach him to party like a rockstar~
Especially on Labour's Day ;D

After a hearty b'fast of dim sum, the noobs (sorry.. the terms they use for each another are rubbing off on me!) & I set off to Kuala Gandah :D

Equipped with good music...

...sunnies, & walkie talkies.

KY & I :) Real men wear pink!

Yummy blueberry cheese tart! - a rather strange item to be sold at a tau fu fah store.

The infamous tee & necklace ;)

If my chain were lower and the pendant came in between the hands... Hmm... ;P

Our first stop was Air Terjun Chamang.
Syok!

Happy happy joy joy!

So relaxing, it's easy to overlook the sign :p
He wasn't the only one who went to the waterfalls for a snooze. I spotted many others carrying blankets, comforters, pillows & bolsters while searching for the perfect spot to take an afternoon nap!

My expression is one of utter bliss! Oh, Kim!

If she had extremely long hands, then yeah... XD

Adry actually brought a mini 'penunu Bunsen', metal cups & coffee powder to set up his own kopi tarik station there.

While the siu jies simply posed..

Suanie & KY were among the first to get wet. That sounds a bit... Nvm!

I did a lot of 'typical Sammy' stuff on this trip.
For instance, as I waded towards those already in the water, I thought to myself, "Oh, no... What if they wet me?" As tempting as it was to swim, the water was deathly cold... My nipples were hard just standing in
ankle-deep water! I needn't have worried, as I 'owned' myself =(

*A word of warning to noobs like myself ~> Darker water means deeper end.

From knee-depth water, I suddenly found myself floundering up to my neck!

Kantoi!

Oh, well... Since I was already wet, I got to join those already swimming!

Finding inner peace amongst the elements of nature.

Helping one another against the currents. Suanie looks as if she's bawling here eyes out here! Dem funny!

You wouldn't believe the things them boys transported to our little spot amongst the rocks. Ingenious move with plastic bags!

I scratched myself pretty badly the first time I clambered up to the rocks. But I had my Little Mermaid plasters for the minor injuries!

Our main objective of the trip had been to visit the elephant sanctuary in Kuala Gandah.
I think we were saying, "HAAAAAAA!"

We were a little too late to go on the elephant rides, but we did get to pet some baby elephants.

So friendly~!

A little too friendly... It suddenly tightened its grip and wouldn't let go! Pain!! KY, save me!

Why lah do baby animals hump? :( Spoils my innocent perception of them.

KY does weights!

Toktok hugs a tiang! Heeheehee!

KY calls this my 'modelish shot'.

Suanie so random again!

Hedgehog. Sho cute!
Kim went into a looong rant about how she thought Sonic the hedgehog was too ugly to be a hedgehog and should actually be a porcupine.. -.-" Hahahah...

Prickly, but not painful to carry as I'd expected!

Sugarglider!
I didn't carry it though, because I felt sorry for the poor bugger - It was practically shivering with fear from all the sudden attention it was receiving!

Winny, I'm feeding you! :P

Kura-kura kisses her dear deer.

I've got you eating out of my hands~ :p

In my opinion, the best picture taken on the trip!
ST triumphs in matters of size! Well, at least I should hope so...

Heeheeheeee! Keciiiiil~! Dem tiny, can! Even my baby cousin's one is bigger!

It was my first time being so up close to a sun bear.

Since we didn't spend as much time as originally planned at the elephant sanctuary, we had time to return to Air Terjun Chamang. Yay!!!

Suan! Aka Mrs BBQ :D Ahahahah!

My favourite pic taken on this trip :)

Thanks for the sweet memories, guys. You're an amazing bunch!
